Hong Boon graduated from National University of Singapore with a B.Sc. Life Sciences and King’s College London with a M.Sc. Biomedical Science Research. He gained vast experiences in genetic research during his career at the Genome Institute of Singapore, a research institute under A*STAR Singapore. He also has many years of business and operations experiences during his time at Syngenta, one of the top Agriculture Biotechnology multi-national corporations (MNC), Asa Genomics’ EmbraceBio, a research service company assisting Researchers in recruiting research volunteers and bio-samples, Asia Genomics’ Imagene Labs, a wellness and medical genetics service company. He previously serves as the CEO of AVATAMED, a global precision oncology company based in Singapore that offers precision oncology drug screening technology services to pharmaceutical companies and oncologists.
