Imagene Labs bags SBR National Business Awards for Health Products & Services

Imagene Labs empowers consumers to optimise their health by providing customised wellness and lifestyle solutions tailored to their unique DNA profiles. Led by medical doctors and scientists, the company provides an entire ecosystem of genomics-based solutions ranging from wellness DNA tests, personalised lifestyle recommendations, bespoke skin serums and nutritional supplements, and mobile health apps that help people live, look and feel their best. For disrupting the USD 3.4 trillion wellness industry with the power of science-based customisation, Imagene Labs won the Singapore Business Review National Business Award for Health Products and Services.

Imagene Labs is vertically integrated: the company processes the wellness DNA tests in its own ISO- and CAP-accredited and government licensed genetic labs in Singapore and Beijing, and also creates the formulations for the customised wellness products that are custom-blended according to insights uncovered via the DNA results. With this bespoke approach, consumers now have the ability to address their skin care, fitness, nutrition and diet needs in a smart and targeted way.

So far, the company has achieved great traction after launching in Singapore in September 2016. Imagene Labs now serves customers in ten markets in Asia Pacific, including Singapore, Malaysia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Australia, and Japan. The company is looking to expand its business beyond Asia by the end of 2018. Apart from its consumer site www.askori.com, Imagene Labs distributes its products and service through wellness businesses, including fitness gym chains, beauty spas, medical groups, and corporate wellness. Imagene Labs has signed some strategic partnership deals with reputable wellness partners with thousands of users on board, and will be announcing these collaborations in the coming months.

Imagene Labs has also won the Frost & Sullivan Southeast Asia Personalized Wellness & Nutritional Genomics Entrepreneurial Company of the Year in 2017. The company is funded by Formation 8 Partners, Raffles Venture Partners, Spring SEEDS Capital and National Research Foundation Singapore, among other investors.

The SBR National Business Awards was held on May 17, 2018 at the Conrad Centennial Singapore.
